Almighty Allah blesses some people extreme skills and power which surprise the world.
Like this, Allah Almighty gave an amazing skill to King of Marakish "Hassan II" who astonished the world by the construction of 5th largest Mosque in Casablanca. 
The Mosque has been build half on the earth and half in the sea which attracts the tourist and visitors.The Hassan II Mosque , situated in Casablanca is the largest mosque in Morocco and the largest mosque in the world after the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) of  Makka and the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque) in Medina

He planned to gift the public on his 60th birthday in the form of a beautiful mosque which is now infront of our eyes.
On 12th, July 1968 they started the building of mosque, its inauguration was due on 1989 on the 60th birthday of Shah Hussain(2nd) but delay in construction work it was opened for public on August 30,1993.
The mosque was named "Hassan Sani Mosque". The architect was Michel Pinseau of  France who designed it keeping typical Islamic architecture and built by Bouygues.  Almost 6000 labours and experts took part in the construction of the mosque.It was built with a huge capital of 800 million dollars and many people also worked free of cost.

The mosque is expand on large area where One Hundred Thousand (100,000)people can pray at a time, 25 thousand people inside and 80 thousands in compound. It has also a portion for women to pray in the mosque. It is placed as 5th largest mosque in the world. Its resembles with the Alhamrah in Spain and Qartaba Mosque. It has all modern facilities like shake proof structure,electric doors,worm floor in Winter and sliding roof along with the Islamic art.

The main quality of the mosque is its 689 feet tall minaret which is one of the tallest minarets in the world.
Its another characteristic is the floor made from glass through it the water of sea can be seen.
Now this part is only for King's family.
At night the view of mosque is fascinating and green light expels from minarets can be see from 30 Kilometers of distance

This light sides towards Makka-tul-Mukarramah and people easily judge the direction of the Holy Kaaba from their homes.

From the gigantic glass floor we can see the rock in the sea very easily on which mosque stands. This beautiful view attracts the tourists towards the mosque.
The people of Morocco(Marakish) are very broad minded despite a poor country. So the many people and labour worked free of cast in construction of the mosque.All the material was available in the country except white granite pillars and chandeliers imported from Italy.Hassan II mosque, largest mosque, morroco,
The mosaic work, marble floor and wood carving makes it a masterpiece.
The tourist from all over the world come to see the mosque.
No doubt it reminds us the greatness and oneness of Almighty Allah.
